If you are planning to burn off on your property or light a fire greater than 2 metres in any direction, you need a fire permit from your local Fire Warden.

Please contact Rural Operations, 99 Limestone Street, Ipswich on 07 3381 7122 for the appropriate Fire Warden for your area. The details of which Rural Fire Area your property is located in, is displayed on your rate notice.

Council approval is also required before burning off on roadsides.
