Rural addressing is a simple, straight-forward means to identify, locate and address properties in rural areas. It is important that properties be numbered in a consistent and logical way to assist emergency services. A rural road number and post is installed free of charge, once only, for NEW DWELLINGS. If your number or post is damaged, a new one is available from Council for a cost per post and per plate.
To make arrangements for a new post or plate contact The Engineering Services Department on: (07) 5462 0356
